“ First time customers after perusing lunch spots we haven't tried before. The rating and reviews swayed us to give Mangia e Bevi a try. It's small. The outdoor patio nearly doubles their occupancy. We were sat near a window by a lovely hostess serving the entire restaurant. We wanted to try their burrata but quickly found out they no longer fry the cheese ball. We pivoted and ordered the beef/pork meatballs to begin. They were fluffy, tasty and prepared to perfection. I'd recommend. We shared a Pistachio Napoletana pizza with pesto and mortadella. It was dry. We asked for a side of pesto to enhance the flavor profile and it helped. We wouldn't order it again. Our Server suggested other pizzas that are more popular for our next visit. We enjoyed 2 glasses of wine in the $15-$18 range, a little steep considering the label choices. A bottle of these wines can be had between $18-$26. For example their Quest Cabernet Franc is priced at $18 while the full bottle priced at $68. The retail bottle value is $26. I'd inquire about a corkage fee next time. We decided we'd return to try other menu options when in the area or convenient. It's not a "run don't walk" or a "must-try" venue. Use the $40 Groupon. It's a must. With an appetizer, one pizza and 3 glasses of wine our bill was $72. This review is for anybody who wishes to hear my opinion... ”

“ We absolutely love this place. The food is just consistently so good. We had the mixed green salad with the best fried artichokes. We always get the pizza - the Cup and Char is our favorite. And the service is outstanding. ”

“ 2nd time at Mangia e Bevi. They are located next to my favorite hair colorist. Turns out I didn't post my review the first time I came here, so this time I am just making sure they receive the flowers that they deserve. Both the food and service were outstanding. We're trying to eat smaller meals (for dinner) lately for health reasons so when we can, we try to order 1 entree and 1 appetizer to share instead of 2 entrees. With that, we ended up with Caponata and Paccheri alla Norcina. Both were amazing!!! The pasta sauce was exceptional and the pasta itself was al dente. I also highly recommend the Squid Ink Linguini with saffron (which I had the first time I came here). Check them out if you're ever in the area. ”

“ We love it here. The ambiance is nice and elevated during the evenings just enough for a nice date-night. We also bring our toddler now and then whom the restaurant is very accommodating but its not the first place I think of for a toddler friendly restaurant, mainly for the ambiance. I really enjoy the Amatriciana, which to me has a lot of depth of flavor. Additionally, the carbonara was excellent with the quail egg which added to the richness of the dish. The peppadew pizza, another flavorful dish that can definitely feed at least 3 people. We enjoyed our food so much, we ended up ordering doordash the next day. Our servers were friendly and professional, drinks stayed topped off and overall experience was great. ”

“ This is a gem of a find! Located in a spot in a shopping area it is a really nice spot. I was on a work trip and the guy that was driving me around brought me here. What a great location. The atmosphere was really nice, the server was outstanding, the decor was elegant and the food was BANGING! Man the pizza here was outstanding!! Tons of selections for toppings, the curst was perfect, and the sauce was a flavor bomb! (What I couldn't finish I took back to the hotel and ate it cold for breakfast!) I'm telling you this is how pizza is supposed to be done! If you have not tried this location don't think about it... do it! You will not be disappointed. I liked it so much I ate here 3 times in the week that I was in town. I'd go back right now if I could! I'm telling you the pizza here was a true masterpiece! And needs to be tried to truly understand just how good it is! ”

“ I came here for a work dinner. They were pretty busy so service took a little longer but their food is so good that it was worth the wait! I had the funghi pizza bianca. I learned that the owner is on the US pizza team from this yelp page so that's a cool fact. This pizza was delicious, absolutely loved the sauce and the mushrooms and the fresh greens on top. I didn't wind up finishing it. I ate maybe 1/3 of the pizza. Probably because I filled up on their delicious appetizers beforehand. I gave the rest to my boyfriend and he wound up eating the whole thing for lunch the next day. Absolutely delicious and would come back! ”

“ My boyfriend and I wanted a date night locally, and I saw this location is top rated, so we gave it a try! We were able to make last-minute reservations for a Saturday night no problem. For appetizers we had the bread service and polpette. The bread was just okay, but the polpette was amazing! For entrees, I had the carbonara and my boyfriend had the prosciutto pizza. The carbonara was excellent, but the prosciutto pizza wasn't good. Not a lot of flavor. My boyfriend had two (little) slices, and had enough. Unfortunately, it didn't seem of much concern to our waitress who just said "sorry about that" when we told her it wasn't good. Making him something else or offering a discount would've been appreciated. The service was also pretty slow. I would try here again, but my boyfriend doesn't want to. I would come back for the food and ambiance. ”

“ Good ambiance, with indoor/outdoor setting. Service prompt and courteous. We had a chick pea fritter that was tasty. The pappardelle Bolognese were awesome: fresh pasta, tasty ragout that was not tomato based with a lot of flavor, depth and richness. We also tried a pizza. The dough was very good, nice leopard print, and cooked across the pizza without being burnt. That means good control of the temperature in the wood oven pizza. It has this nice smoky flavor that only comes from the wood smoke. Topping were good and tasty, good sauce. ”
